Our story begins three years ago in Phoenix, Arizona, though it really started long before that. We grew up not far from each other in Oregon—just miles apart—but somehow, our paths never crossed. We had to leave our hometowns and meet in the desert to find each other.

It all started on Bumble. Kalia swiped right first, and after seeing we both loved The Band Camino, she messaged Trent. That was the moment we knew something special was starting. We quickly discovered how much we had in common: a shared love of music, our mutual obsession with cats, and our love for simple moments.

The first time we met in person was at a taco shop. It was casual, but that moment was anything but. Trent remembers being immediately struck by how beautiful Kalia was—there was something about her that made him feel completely at ease, like they had known each other forever. Kalia felt the same way. There was an instant connection, a kind of magic that made everything feel effortless.

Not long after, we found ourselves building a home together with our two adorable cats, Zeke and Luci. Zeke is sweet, curious, and a little bit of a troublemaker, while Luci is sassy, independent, and always getting into mischief. They quickly became a big part of our lives, and our home wouldn't be the same without their constant love and playful energy.

Even though we grew up so close in Oregon, it took moving to Arizona to bring us together. From that first meeting, everything just seemed to fall into place. Our connection felt so natural, and it didn’t take long for us to realize we were meant to be. We’ve been inseparable ever since, and now, we’re about to start the biggest adventure of all—together.
